This retirement calculator is built for transparency. We collect only what is necessary to run the tool, improve it, and keep it secure. We do not sell, trade, or profile your data. All information handling follows Canadian privacy standards under PIPEDA, regardless of where you access the site from.

2. Information We Collect

  • What You Choose to Share: You can use the calculator without an account or registration. If you submit feedback, apply for our advisor referral program, or opt into updates, we may collect your email and the content of your message.
  • Technical Logs: Like most websites, our servers automatically record basic data: browser type, device, approximate location derived from your IP address, and access timestamps. This is used solely for performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and security.
  • Referral Program Data: If you voluntarily choose to connect with a partner financial advisor, we will only share the contact information you explicitly consent to provide (name, email, and optional context). We never share calculator inputs or financial details without your clear permission.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data only to:

  • Deliver, maintain, and improve the calculator and related resources
  • Process voluntary donations and manage the beta feedback loop
